Rotta has been in the furniture manufacturing business since 1937. Rotta merged with Renar in 1998 and became known as the Brazil Furniture Group, or BFG. Renar and Rotta were founded by German and Italian immigrants in the early part of the 20th century, and today are both administrated by the fourth generation of the family. What sets Rotta’s furniture apart from many others is that Rotta products are made with 100% SOLID WOOD. There is no MDF, Particle Board, or Veneers. From the drawers to the side panels, everything is solid wood. Because their products are constructed of 100% solid wood, Rotta’s products contain no formaldehyde, thus making them in compliance with the California Air Resources Board. Rotta takes being eco-friendly even further—they have their own renewable forest. For every tree that they cut, two new ones are planted in its place. Rotta’s various bedroom collections include bed frames, nightstands, dressers, and mirrors. The pieces can be purchased individually or as a complete set.
