Small, contemporary-like light. Our white light great against our white ceiling. Don't have the chance to move it much, but we could. Would definitely recommend this to others.

This light usually works fine. But, sometimes it decides to flicker or fade momentarily before coming back on to the desired level. Maybe this is only a problem because I have it set up with a dimmer (Lutron). The light will flicker whether it is set to full power or some lower level. It works well about 90% of the time. The manufacturer claims that no transformer is necessary to hook up the 12V bulb to the 120V line. My electrical engineering knowledge thinks that something is wrong with lack of a transformer in the system. I hope that my house doesn't burn down because of this. So, I don't turn this light on very often.

Good quality up lights . illuminate wooden ceiling effectively. would recommend them to a friend.
