This fan is a nice, simple fan. It would work with many different light kits, or just as a stand alone.

beautiful fan!

The fan is absolutely beautiful and is incredibly stable and quiet when operating. Had a friend who is very handy install it so can't speak personally to the ease of installation except that he made it look effortless. I am very happy with this fan and it is an excellent value.
